A week ago Leonidas Oy, an ICT company with lovely offices overlooking the central square of Tampere, invited Kimmo and me over to record a podcast, which you can find here on the blog section of their web pages. We had a lively 1 hour chat, talking about everything from what blockchains are and how they work, to speculating on the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, and why Bitcoin’s consensus protocol is both wonderfully clever and terrible for the environment. Listening to it will give you a good start at finding your bearings in the complicated world of blockchain technology.

Wander over and have a listen, then let us know what you think!

In further news, we’ve agreed to help host a blockchain after-work presentation at the Leonidas offices. From their site:

Chainfrog and Leonidas are hosting a free blockchain event on Jan 11, 2017 in Tampere. The event will begin 17:00 and there are limited number of seats available. Registration will open in December, please follow the information on Leonidas’ channels.

Perhaps we’ll see you there?
